6. Changes in academic process:

            Change the thesis title of Decision No. 785/QD-DT dated April 26, 2017 of the Rector of the University of Education, VNU revised the thesis title to: “Evaluating of the training program for school managers in Vietnam according to the professional competence framework.”; Extend the study time in Decision No. 2171/QD-DHGD dated December 20, 2018 of the Rector of the University of Education, VNU; Change the thesis title of to: “Develop a framework for evaluating of the training program for school managers in Vietnam according to the professional competence framework”, in Decision No. 1659 / QD-DHGD dated September 10, 2019 by the Rector of the University of Education, VNU.

11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

Systemize the theories about competence, framework of managers, the competence of the management for high school administrators. Evaluating of the training program for school managers in Vietnam according to the professional competence framework. Determine the relationship between the training program for school managers and the professional competence framework. As a theoretical basis for the proposal the professional competence framework and develop a framework for evaluating of the training program for school managers in Vietnam according to the professional competence framework.

Build the competence of the management for high school managers before the current context has added some new competencies needed compared to the Standards of Principal, including 3 standards with 17 criteria to ensure reliability and value. The research results are references to help school managers, self-assessment their competence compared to the professional competence framework, Standards of Principal high school to have plans for self-study and self-training, developing leadership and governance capacity in the current context.

Build the thesis theoretical framework, develop a framework for evaluating of the training program for school managers in Vietnam according to the professional competence framework, including 4 standards, 16 criteria to build, experiment, complete and recommend the usage of the training program for school managers in Vietnam according to the professional competence framework, which were the criteria that were referent document for schools to evaluate the program of high school administrators to edit, support, improve the training program for school managers at present.

Build the learning outcomes of the training program for school managers in Vietnam to help learners identify the knowledge and skills that learners will gain when completing the training course.

Edit, supplement and improve the current 382 program associated with the professional competence.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

            - Applying a capacity building framework to assess learners' competencies before, after completing the training program for school managers to have specific solutions.

            - Help the training institutions to self-assessment the training program for school managers to have a solution to improve the quality of training.

13. Further research directions, if any:

            - Develop programs to improve school management officials in the current context.
