- Clarifying the progress of human development and comprehension of its conception, pointing out major factors that identifying the influence of economic growth to the human development and identifying factors that are able to strengthen the transformation of achievements to progresses in human development.
- Analyzing the real situation of how economic growth influences the progress of human development on aspects of HDI and Ghd in Vietnam in recent time and pointing out achievements as well as issues Vietnam has to cope with in its process of economic development for the sake of human development.
- Based on theoretical reasoning and actual influence of economic growth on human development in Vietnam, the thesis proposes a number of views on economic orientation and measures to speed up economic growth in Vietnam for the coming years for the goal of human development in the country.
