11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
- The dissertation focuses resolving some scientific content as follow:
+ Surveying the formation and major characteristics of the reportage
+ Analyzing cultural and social premises that led to the explosion of reportage and the brilliant achievements of Vietnam reportage in 1930-1945 (the volume of works, team of authors and the typical writers) .
+ Clarifying the richly aesthetic characteristics of Tam Lang, Vu Trong Phung, Ngo Tat To reportage: denouncing "ulcer" of the society current at that time; reflecting the lugubrious pauperization and deterioration of people and culture; expressing aesthetic thoughts of authors through the narrating personality of writer: truthful objective, coming off till the end of the truthfulness, working out reasons and suggesting solutions.
+ Surveying systematically characteristics of reportage of Tam Lang, Vu Trong Phung, Ngo Tat To: from creative, passionate and polyhistoric personality of writer to diversified and original artistic methods in creating landscape and people; especially, ability to use language and lead the story up to some subject; combination of art styles (reportage and chronicle, reportage and short story, reportage and novel reportage).
+ Through the results of the survey and evidences above, these will make great contribution to the general face of the Vietnam reportage in 1930-1945. In the general context, Tam Lang, Vu Trong Phung, Ngo Tat To were prominent writers, who had the credit of paving the way for, developing and streamlining reportage style, towards the modernization promotion of Vietnam culture and literary in early years of the century XX.
