This is particularly important in the context of the current struggle for influence and interest with cultural tools among regional powers in the post-Cold War era.

Secondly, theoretically, the dissertation contributes a number of theoretical bases on the aspects of cultural diplomacy in general with many different aspects such as concepts, theoretical basis, and foreign relations. political and economic diplomacy.

Thirdly, the thesis also analyzes the aspects of American cultural diplomacy to draw some recommendations for promoting relations between Vietnam and the US, including cultural relations between the two countries. Besides, this thesis studies the increase of soft power through cultural diplomacy, which can help Vietnam draw important lessons to increase the soft power of Vietnam.

Finally, in terms of materials, the thesis gathers and processes references in the country and abroad, related to many issues and fields of cultural diplomacy, public diplomacy and softpower for analytical research.
