- To proposing solutions to develop managerial human resources in tourism businesses in Quang Binh province.

12. Practical applicability:

- For tourism enterprises: Understand current situation of their managerial human resources, difficulties encountered in human resource management activities. Therefore, they will have appropriate policy.

- For managers of tourism enterprises: Be able to self-assess their own competencies to become more aware in improving their competencies.

- For the State administrative agency in charge of tourism: Provide an objective view of current situation of managerial human resources in tourism enterprises. Therefore, there has been orientation in developing tourism human resources in Quang Binh Province.

13. Further research directions:

- To develop a portfolio of competencies to assess managerial human resources of all level (top managers, middle managers, first-line managers) of tourism enterprisess; Or assess managerial human resources based on size of the enterprises: large and small and medium-sized.

- To assess state managerial human resources in charge of tourism based on a competency approach, in order to improve the quality of state management of tourism.
