11. Summary of the new finding of the thesis:

The thesis is a systematic research on the connection between East Asia context and the Ming invasion of Dai Viet; the thesis explains the reason why Dai Viet was the objective of the invasion.         The thesis is contribution to the understanding of Chinese diplomacy, Ming ambition of Dai Viet, the thesis explains the essence of the invasion. The thesis assesses the influence and impact of the Ming invasion of Dai Viet in history of East Asia from the early 15th century and reactions of some nations in the area.          

The thesis made conclusion of the important position of Dai Viet in the economy and polity of East Asia, according to what, Ming policy of expansion led to the invasion of Dai Viet. The Ming claims the conflicts between forces in Dai Viet and conflicts between Dai Viet and some neighbors as an excuse of the invasion. The Ming managed to expanded territory by using the army, plundered from Dai Viet and tried to destroy Dai Viet culture. Those made changes in East Asia polity and culture. Some nations reacted and prepared themselves to defend against the Ming. Though there were extreme damages in Dai Viet economy, society and culture, the resistance of Dai Vie led to the reestablishment of their independence in 1428.
