11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

The thesis contributed to the development of a new research direction on the characteristics and values of Ho Chi Minh’s humanism:

- Contributed to clarifying some general theoretical issues on humanism, and Ho Chi Minh’s humanism.

- Contributed to clarifying the main characteristics of Ho Chi Minh’s humanism.

- Contributed to clarifying the typical values of Ho Chi Minh’s humanism.

Practical applicability:

The research findings of the thesis contributed to supplementing and deepening the theoretical awareness of the characteristics and values of Ho Chi Minh’s humanism. Based on clarifying the typical values of Ho Chi Minh’s humanism, the thesis provided the suggestions for identifying and solving the theoretical issues related to humanism in the cause of innovation in Vietnam today.

The research findings of the thesis contributed to providing the scientific arguments which had referential value to the planning of humanism-related guidelines and policies of the Party and State currently. In addition, the thesis can be used as a reference for researching, teaching and learning Ho Chi Minh’s ideology at political schools, universities and colleges in Vietnam.

13. Further research directions:

Studying the characteristics and values of Ho Chi Minh’s humanism was a difficult and comprehensive task which included a lot of issues, and required careful and serious research of many scientists for satisfactory solution. The research findings of the thesis were only the first step and the condition for further research and clarification. Along with studying the characteristics and values of Ho Chi Minh’s humanism, many further research directions have been suggested, such as:

- Further clarifying the foundations of Ho Chi Minh’s humanism, as well as clarifying the profound contents of Ho Chi Minh’s humanism.

- Continuing the research on characteristics of Ho Chi Minh’s humanism, then pointing out the remarkable difference of Ho Chi Minh’s humanism from the previous humanism (traditional humanism and mankind’s humanism).

- Focusing on deeply researching the theoretical and practical values of Ho Chi Minh’s humanism for Vietnamese people, and contributing to supplementing and developing the mankind’s humanism. Thereby confirming more and more clearly the value and vitality of Ho Chi Minh’s humanism in every era.
