11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis

Thesis has selected the hydrodynamic and shoreline change models and successfully applied on the simulation of hydrodynamic and morphological factors for center beach of the west coast of Nha Trang Bay. This tool and modeling includes the wave model, shoreline change, camera image processing program and hamornic analystical tools. Results has pointed out the time scales of the process causing the shoreline change (time scales of seasons, half a year, one year and three years) and the causes of shoreline change in westal coast beache of Nha Trang Bay.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

The final research results of the thesis can be developed into a model system for the forecasting and warning of long-term coastal change process in the management and planning of the beach. Determine the rules and causes long-term fluctuations in the beach as the basis for proposed solutions to protect, upgrade and stabilize beaches in effective and most scientific solutions.

Research and development model in the combining of shoreline and section change.

Research and application of program sets for the locals In Vietnam.

Research and develop processing model for the parameters of coastal waves from camera images.
