11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

11.1 General new results: The thesis is an in-depth, comprehensive, and systematic study of theoretical issues on conflict resolution between protection of industrial property rights for trademarks and domain names, clarifying the concept, function, mechanism for establishing rights, content, and scope of protection of trademark and the concept, function, registration of domain name and validity of domain name registration; clarify the concept of conflict between the protection of industrial property rights for trademarks and domain names; methods to resolve conflicts between protection of industrial property rights for trademarks and domain names, analyze inadequacies and propose amendments and supplements to improve the law on conflict resolution between copyright protection industrial property to trademarks and domain names. Different from other existing studies, the thesis focuses on preventing and limiting conflicts between the protection of industrial property rights for trademarks and domain names, and also clarifying the methods of protecting industrial property rights for trademarks and domain names. dispute resolution.

11.2 Detailed new results: The thesis has the following new highlights: (i) Identifying conflicts arising in the protection of industrial property rights for trademarks and the process of registering and using domain names in activities business or related entities, (ii) Building a theoretical foundation for conflict resolution between the protection of industrial property rights for trademarks and domain names; clarifying the concept, function, establishment of rights, content and scope of protection of the mark and the concept, function, domain name registration and validity of domain name registration; methods to resolve conflicts between the protection of industrial property rights for trademarks and domain names, (iii) Analysis and assessment of the legal situation on conflict resolution between the protection of industrial property rights for trademarks and domain names, detecting limitations and inadequacies of the law, (iv) Proposing solutions, orientations to complete the overall provisions of the law governing conflict resolution between protection industrial property rights to trademarks and domain names.

12. Practical applicability:

12.1 The research results of the thesis contribute to building an in-depth, comprehensive, and systematic theoretical foundation on conflict resolution between the protection of industrial property rights for trademarks and domain names. Therefore, the thesis can become a valuable reference for the formulation and improvement of the law, for research, teaching, and practical activities.

12.2 The research results of the thesis give recommendations to improve the Vietnamese law on resolving conflicts between the protection of industrial property rights for trademarks and domain names. Therefore, the thesis has practical significance for legislative activities, policy-making, and law-making. 

13. Further research directions:

Research and build a conflict resolution model between the protection of industrial property rights for trademarks and private domain names of Vietnam based on the common requirements outlined in the CPTPP Agreement and refer to the advantages of the Government UDRP unified domain name dispute resolution book.
