The purpose is to finance and implement development programs about MSc Biotechnology which IMBT is working with the University of Liege in Belgium (No. 2 University of Belgium). Each course will last 2 years, graduates will receive master's degrees granted by the University of Liege and VNU. Earlier, the Memorandum of Agreement Financing has been signed on July 01, 2010 in the form of a memorandum between the PLV and VNU. PLV has also signed agreements with scholarships which worth 50,000 USD for Vietnam students to join high school course on biotechnology at the University of Dublin, Ireland. Habotec is the biotech park with an area of 200 ha in Tu Liem district, Ha Noi, which has the Investment License No. 011043000307 dated 12/03/2008 by People's Committee of Hanoi City. Habotec is expected to be a center for biotechnology development in agriculture, medicine and health. Habotec will also have universities and hospitals to international research and biotechnology applications.
