The generation of the stable trio coherent states of an ion in a three-dimensional isotropic trap was studied. Eight lasers were required to prepare the trio coherent state of a trapped ion. The alternative configurations of eight lasers to generate vibrational trio coherent states of an ion trapped in a three dimensional isotropic harmonic potential was presented.
