At the meeting, the two sides exchanged information about the organizational structure, training and scientific research activities of VNU in attempt to find out the new ways of cooperation in education.
On behalf of VNU, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyễn Kim Sơn introduced some basic information of VNU with the emphasis on its role of being the leading higher education and scientific research center in Vietnam. Being entrusted with the mission of training high quality human resources for the country, VNU has always focused on strengthening international cooperation and innovating training and research methodologies to reach international standards. Therefore, VNU Vice President hoped to expand the cooperation with World Bank in all aspects and expected certain support and consultation from World Bank for the further development of VNU.
