11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

(1). Providing a new perspective on livelihood assets, livelihood strategies, and livelihood outcomes of women in an area of agricultural land conversion.

(2). Generalizing theoretical perspectives to enlarge the understanding of women’s livelihoods in suburban area in the context of urbanization.

12. Practical applicability:

(1). The research results can be used as references for further research and local authorities to develop suitable policies to support women, ensure sustainable development in the industrialization and modernization process of the country.

(2). The dissertation can be used as references in teaching sociology of gender, omen in universities and other educational institutions.

13. Further research directions: The difference between the livelihoods of women and men in agricultural land-use conversion area.
