Firstly, systematize the views, guidelines and directions of the Communist Party of Vietnam on the development of traditional medicine and pharmacy from 1996 to 2015.

Secondly, assessing the advantages and disadvantages of the leadership in the development of traditional medicine of the Communist Party of Vietnam from 1996 to 2015.

Thirdly, draw the experiences from the Party's leadership in the development of traditional medicine from 1996 to 2015.

Fourthly, provide scientific data as a basis for the Party and State's policy-making in order to continue developing traditional medicine for health care.

Fifth, provide references in traditional medicine research and teaching in the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
